Reverend James D. Bracken (1934-2012) started Mission Teens Discipleship Program in 1969 in Norma, NJ after much prayer because of an overflow in his home prayer meeting. He saw the need for a more effective ministry for some of the troubled younger people and the doors were opened for him to start a residential program for them. After two years of little success, God answered his prayer by dictating to him a program that, when put into effect, brought immediate results in the lives of those in need. This same program is used today in all of the Mission Teens centers and the results are still phenomenal.
since 1962, Jim's desire has been to minister God's love to people. He has seen this desire fulfilled, as over the years thousands of lives were touched, no only through the discipleship program, but also through his radio ministry, newsletter articles, counseling, prison outreach, and maintaining his weekly home prayer meeting for 35 years.

Please keep this ministry in your prayers and visit or write when you can as we are encouraged by your support!

Our Mission Statement

The purpose of a Mission Teens Inc. is to witness unto Jesus Christ in the world, in the power of the Holy Spirit, with a particular emphasis to young people, but not to the exclusion of anyone.

We know that Jesus Christ is the answer to everyone's needs. We will provide any and all facilities necessary to evangelize, educate and disciple any persons spiritually, physically, vocationally and psychologically as the Holy Spirit of God leads and directs.  We reserve the right to engage in any business we feel led to enter into in order to further the purpose of this Mission.

This organization is to be non-profit, supported by God, through people as He works individually in their hearts, primarily purposed in proclaiming Jesus Christ, to whom be all glory and honor.

This is to be His work; we are His servants.

Our individual purpose is to trust Him, to obey Him and to praise Him.  Truly He is worthy of all of our praise.
